Q: What is Michigan Escape Room?

A:  Michigan Escape Room is a live interactive game.  You have 60 minutes to try to Escape from a themed room.  Find hidden objects, search for clues and solve the puzzles to try to make your Escape! It is an adventure, a memory maker and just plain ol’ FUN for anyone!

Q: What should I bring?

A:  Just bring yourself and some friends and we will take care of the rest! You are welcome to bring purses and smartphones into the Escape Room but pictures and videos are strictly prohibited.

Q: When should I arrive?

A: All members of your team will check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled game time for the check in process and rules meeting. The 60 minute game timer will begin precisely at your scheduled game time.

Q: Can I reschedule my appointment?

A: Yes! A rescheduling fee of $25.00 will be due at the time of rescheduling your appointment. Reschedules can be done anytime after making your appointment up until 1 day prior to your scheduled appointment time. If a reschedule needs to happen once your Michigan Escape Room Game Master is already on site preparing for your game, a $50.00 reschedule will be due to change the date, time or date and time of your game. Please note there are no rescheduling options available once your scheduled game time has started. Tickets are non-refundable.

Q: What happens if I arrive late?

A: The game timer will begin precisely at your scheduled game time. Late arriving participants will have a shorter time in the game room to escape. Please be aware that the latest we can start your group is 15 minutes after game time, giving you 45 minutes to escape instead of the full 60 minutes. There are no ticket refunds or reschedules allowed for late arrivals, cancellations, or no-shows within an hour start of your game time.

Q: How old do you have to be to play?

A: Our games are designed to challenge an adult mind. However, kids catch on quickly and do awesome with the skills needed to help escape! The guideline below will help:

16 yrs and up - No Adults Mandatory
12-15 yrs- 1 adult 18+ Mandatory ( Elevator game will require 2 adults 18+ )
10-11 yrs - 2 adults 18+ Mandatory ( Kidnapped and Elevator are not recommended for this age group unless you have 3 adults minimum. )
10 yrs and under - The minimum number of players the room holds will be the minimum number of adults Mandatory. The remaining players are recommended to be at least 9 yrs old.
Under 6 yrs - Not allowed into the game rooms
Infants- Infants must be in a carrier strapped to an adult while inside the game room at all times. Strollers and carseats can not be brought into the game room. ( Infants do not need a ticket.)

Q: How long will I be there?

A: You have 60 minutes to try and escape the Escape Room.  Some groups succeed and some do not!  The time you are at the Escape Room facility will depend on if you escape or not and how long it takes your group to escape if you are successful.  You should plan on being at Escape Room for up to 1 ½ hours total. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your game time.

Q: How many people do I need in my group?

A: Depending on the game room you can have 2 - 52 players. We also can set up competitions for larger group sizes of 12-52+ players.  We can host multiple games at the same time so if you have any questions regarding a large corporate event such as a teambuilding exercise, family reunion, graduation party, etc  please call us for specific details and we will be happy to help you.  

*YOU MUST BOOK THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TICKETS A ROOM HOLDS TO RESERVE THE DATE. YOU CAN ADD ADDITIONAL TICKETS ON AT THE DOOR MAXING OUT AT THE MAX NUMBER OF PLAYERS THE ROOM YOU HAVE RENTED HOLDS.

Q: How much does it cost?

A:   2-20 tickets $31.00/ ticket  

      21+ tickets = $29.00/ ticket  

Q: Am I really locked inside of the Michigan Escape Room?

A:  Well…we would lock you in if we could, but we can’t! Michigan Escape Room has the ability to make it seem as though you are locked in with only one way out but in reality if there was an emergency situation your group would be able to exit the room.  We are watching your game on camera for the safety of all members of your group at all times. Your safety and a fun experience is our top priority!

Q: Is there anything scary about the Michigan Escape Room?

A: No, there are no spooks or scares during your experience at the Escape Room.  Just a whole lot of fun!!

Q:  What if we can’t figure out one of the puzzles or we feel “stuck “ ?

A: We have the ability ( In a fun way ) to help you along by giving you an additional hint on what we feel your group may need help with along the way. We have Michigan Escape Room game masters watching in on your game to make sure you have the most fun possible during your time at Michigan Escape Room.

Q: Can I bring in Food or Drinks??

A: Food and Drinks are not allowed into Michigan Escape Room. We host Escape Room games only with no access to a party room.
